After many years of trying different camera manufactures, we have finally settled on the kit below. It is very true that a good camera doesn’t guarantee good images.

FUJIFILM GFX 100ii

It’s big, heavy and not the fastest camera but for landscape/seascape photography, it is probably one of the best out there. The image quality is truly amazing and being able to heavily crop in post with little quality loss makes post processing almost a joy.

FUJINON GF32-64mm F4 R LM WR

This lens will produces images with more than enough detail to breathe life into a scene and bring emotion to the moment. It has a 35mm equivalent focal range of 25-51mm, GF32-64mm F4 is remarkably portable and provides uncompromising image quality.

FUJINON GF100-200mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR

A fantastic lens for landscape photography and with a 35mm equivalent focal range of 79-158mm. I often pair this with the GF1.4X TC WR teleconverter.

DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

My favourite drone – A superb drone capable of creating amazing image and video. Holding a commercial licence gives me some extra flexibility on restrictions that apply in the UK. I also use the DJI Mini 4 Pro when restrictions prevent me using the Mavic 3 Pro

Gitzo Systematic GT3533LS

I use this as my main tripod.  It’s relatively light and incredibly well built. A little on the expensive side but I don’t plan on changing it.  The old saying works for me – “buy cheap, buy twice”.

Arca Swiss D4

So a few years ago I bought a geared head. An amazing piece of engineering and I really love it now.

Shimoda Action X50

I really like this bag.  I have two inserts which a change depending on what I want to take out.  I aways try and travel light especially with a knackered back like mine.
